Our Spot
Cabo de la Vela in Colombia offers nearly year-round perfect wind and flat, warm water for freestyle kiteboarding. The spot is ideal for both beginners and experienced kitesurfers. Beyond kiteboarding, you can experience the local Wayuu Indigenous culture. A remote, untouched destination for kitesurfing and relaxation.
Wind
330 days of the year here the wind blows offshore between 25 and 35 knots, The season is between December till June. The best wind conditions in South America.
Water
It is a flat, shallow water spot with beautiful sandy beaches and clear water. Perfect conditions for beginners, freestyle or practicing tricks.
Temperature
Water temperatures around 24°C year-round, so no wetsuit is needed. Air temperatures range from 25°C to 32°C.
Fun
